Jade felt his cold hand slid over hers and she shivered. Her warm blood chilled under his touch and all she wanted to do was to pull herself up into his lap and fall asleep. He made her feel safe. Haha something no one could ever do for her even desire relaxed and fell away to the deep dark parts of her mind in content with theman next to her. It was like her fit with them so perfectly he mad all the torment we went through vanish.

" I don't know anything about my new race, shit I barely knew anything about my demon race let alone the other half of my human race. I am so lost." She rolled her hand around and gripped his fingers with her. just right pured the demon.


" Please do not fear me," jade started to say but before she could finish her words a tail rippedd her away from her sanity and desire rolled out of her relaxed pose inside of Jade's mind and hissed jade followed suit hissing at the thing holding her away from the man that gave her peace.

Blaine watched the way Shiva's hips swayed and his stomach tighten. More than one of his demons growled with need all of them needing something different but all of them agreed sex would put them to ease ass long as that she devil was the one under them. Blaine took a deep breath and closed off the demon's the sword glowed white a pure white. No blaine was never a pure of heart but he was nothing like the rest of the demons. He was still that human boy locked inside lost in the screams of his own demons for the worlds sake.

She winked and he nodded as she vanished. A nice little trick but Blaine liked to walk. One time when he vanished he ended up in hell. Never again, no never again.

He listened to her grabbed the girl and her hiss. Grand a pissed off kid. Blaine spun around the edge of the door and placed the blade at the male vampire's neck." Right come with me so the girl can go free and life a nice life." Blaine lowered his eyes and looked over at Jade.

Desire snarled and took over jade. Her face melted away to Desire's lovely face and her jade green eyes. she turned slowly to look at the female demon and smiled," Shiva right? I see that Malice likes your ass why not let him play with you." The woman hissed and then snapped her fingers. Anger spread across her lovely face as shiva let go of her slowly.

The room began to smell of roses and lavender as Desire looked to Blaine. She tightly her head like a cat and she smirked," Enjoy Blaine." She blew him a kiss but before the air kiss would have landed the sword grew a deep blood red and Malice snarled," Stop this Desire or I will take his head off. My lust is blood and my love is war. Be careful what you do. " Malice turned to the boy and licked his lips," I bet his heart would taste wonderful ripped out of his chest still beating as I sip at the blood."


Desire gasped and vanished like a wounded pup and jade fell to her knees with her eyes to the floor." Destre run," Jade screamed and lashed out to kick Blaine in the knee cap making his leg snap backwards and him fall to the ground.

Blaine laughed as his leg broke and he fell to the ground. Malice loved pain and so did Blaine. Malice lashed out and grabbed the girl's leg." But you not going anywhere doll."

Destre’s face grew fierce as he felt the tip of the blade near his neck, but it wasn’t for the sake of his own safety. His life was no longer his concern, it was her life that he cared for now, and seeing her, dangling at the mercy of a demon, sent his heart into a frenzy of fear and anger. The thick, heavy feeling had returned to the air, and it was eating him alive.

“Let her go!” he snapped.

His eyes darkened as he hissed aloud, a long, formidable sound. He tensed, prepared to spring without a care that the sword might rip through his throat, but wasn’t given the chance. Suddenly, Jade’s face was lost to Desire’s as the demon addressed Shiva. As easily as that, Jade was lowered to her feet.

Panic, fear, anger, the desire to kill: all of it coursed through Destre so powerfully that it was a wonder that he didn’t burst at the seems, exploding with the chaos of emotions rioting through his body. As the demon with the sword made threats against his life, Destre lifted his hand, thinking to sock him in the nose, having fallen far from sanity in his moment of panic over Jade’s safety. But his fist never got to connect to the demon’s nose.

From the corner of his eye, Destre saw Jade crumple to the floor.

“Jade!”

Thinking she’d somehow been injured, he dove for her. Dove just as she kicked the demon in the knee and knocked him down. Dove just in time for Shiva to come out of her daze and catch him in the act.

“Not this time!” Shiva roared, and her tail whipped out.

It connected with Destre midair and knocked him into the wall. The plaster cracked and crumbled under his weight, and Destre’s breath exploded from his lungs in a burst as he fell to the floor. For a moment, all he could see was stars. He groped blindly for Jade.

Someone clasped his wrist, but it wasn’t Jade. With force, Destre was ripped off the floor and dangled in the air by that wrist, a wrist that was clasped so tightly in Shiva’s hand that it was threatening to snap. Destre didn’t feel that pain.

Though the madness Desire had instilled in him had faded as the demon retreated into Jade, the panic was still there. Regardless if his feelings of anxiety for Jade’s well-being were his own or not, Destre was still stricken with fear for her safety.

“You have caused me far too much trouble!” Shiva hissed, and she snapped his wrist.

Destre heard it crack, but, through the haze of pain in his mind, it took him several moments to connect the sound with the pain that suddenly ricochetted through his arm. He howled in torment despite his best intentions, his eyes blind with fury and pain.

“There. As far as Vorigan will be concerned, you did that yourself,” she told him smugly, “but, between you and me, that was a gift I’ve been waiting to give you.”

Her tail snaked up and wrapped around his midsection, tightening until it was at suffocating levels. Destre gasped as he felt his ribs trying to bow under the preasure, and he knew it’d only be a matter of a few degrees of more pressure before they snapped.

He swung at Shiva with his good hand and missed, causing the demon to cackle with delight.

“Now, enough of this!” she barked at Jade. “Be still or I will kill him. You’re both going back to the castle now. Tor will appreciate two gifts rather than just one.”

The darknes fell over them as the walked towards a small dark town. A impending sand stone was on its way. The wind had picked up and the sand and fog swirled around them like it was alive. The groupd hurried towards the next town with wall of sand licking at there heals. Nothing surrived the sand stones when they hit.

" quickly," Blaine called over the loud wind as he pulled Jade forward by her wrist. He had mad sure to keep her far enough away from Destre so that he could not touch her. He did not like desire to have what she wanted the demon would try anything to save her own ass.

Blaine beat on the gate to the town. It was a ten foot wood door that locked onto a wall the wrapped the entire town. It was for protection not just form the sand storms but what ever creature wanted to kill its villagers. Many creatures walked the earth that were more dangerous then a demon or vampire.

A man looked over the wall and called down," Race?"

" FUCKING DEMONS AND VAMPIRES NOW OPEN THE GOD DAMN DOOR BEFORE I BREAK IT IN," yelled Blaine. The man grunted and then vanished from sight. Within moments the door groaned to life and slowly opened just enough for them to enter and then it slammed shut. " Inn Where?"

" Down that way you better hurry," Laughed the guard as he went into a guard house and slammed the door shut. Ass.

Blaine did not give anyone time to say a word before he was leading the way.

Soon the smell of ale, sex, blood, and sweat filled the air. Blaine looked up and a sign for the local tavern beat against the wall above the door. Blaine looked over his shoulder and the wall of sand was going and fast. Blaine tossed the door open pulled everyone behind him before slamming the door just in time for the storm to slam into them.

" Shit," Blaine snapped and looked at his leg. It was mostly healed but it still stung. He spun around and walked away form the group too the inn keeper," Yeah I need two rooms."

" We only have one sir sorry the storm. The storm is said to last for days." The demon pig grunted and a bit of drool rolled from his lip to the desk. Blaine wrinkled his nose at the disgusting sight.

" sure fine." Blaine took the key and tossed the coins on the counter. The pig man grabbed at the coins like a child with candy.


" Come on we have to bunk together." Blaine grabbed jade again and she groaned form shear exhaustion as he pulled her up the steps to their new home till the storm left.

Shiva groaned aloud as the inn keeper informed them that there was only one room left. One room for all four of them. This was going to be a spectacular mess. Trapped in a room with Desire and the assortment of demons inside of Blaine was not how Shiva wanted to spend her night. Or the next couple of days, if what they were saying was true. Would it be too much to hope the sandstorm only lasted the night?

Her mood going twice as foul, Shiva jerked Destre behind her and up the stairs to their room. She’d been leading him around with a death grip on the wrist she’d broken, and he’d spent most of their fast-paced venture cursing her name to hell. Funny, since her soul was already there.

Now, however, he’d lapsed into silence, and all she could hear was the sound of his labored breathing hissing through his teeth. Apparently he’d either grown wise enough to shut his mouth, or he’d simply tired of wasting his breath. Either way, it was fine for Shiva. She’d grown sick of hearing his voice.

He was the source of all her current problems after all.

She stomped into their room behind Blaine, assessed the small width and length, and knew that they were all most likely doomed. Two beds, four people, and hardly enough space to breathe in. Wonderful.

“Keep her over there, and I’ll keep him here.”

Perhaps they’d survive the night if they kept the two apart, and perhaps they could keep Desire on a leash if she had to worry about Destre being harmed. With a merciless tug on his broken wrist, Shiva pulled Destre to the far corner of the room and sat on one of the only two chairs in the room.

Wrapping her tail around him for lack of a rope, she forced Destre to sit on the floor beside her. Though she did finally release his wrist.

“What now?” Shiva growled, folding her arms over her chest.

Destre held his wrist to his chest, a scowl upon his face. He examined it carefully, and then discarded it. It would finally heal now that Shiva had stopped trying to dettach it from his body. Gently, Destre rested his arm across his leg, laying his wrist straight so that it would heal properly.

He gave it no further thought as he glanced across the room toward where Blaine held Jade. The panic was still a constant friend of his. Though the sand storm had bought them time, as soon as it was over, they’d both be taken to the castle and handed over to Tor Vorigan.

He imagined that he would be punished fitfully, but what would the king do to Jade? Tor wasn’t known for kindness in any area.

Feeling desperate, Destre tried to meet Jade’s gaze across the room, his face full of the apology that he couldn’t speak aloud.

Blaine sighed and rubbed his temples. One way or another someone in this room was going to rub him the wrong way and so far it was Shiva and her attitude. " We stick out the sand storm is what we do for now." He picked up Jade and walked her over to the bed. She was shivering and scared. Blaine maybe be many things but he still had a heart and cared for people.


Jade looked up at his with her dark brown eyes filled with free and Blaine sighed again. Slowly he brushed a piece of loose hair out of her face." You will be fine child." He breathed and then sat next to her like an older brother would." I am alot like you no worries." He patted her on the head and then lend back onto the bed.


Jade looked around the room until Blaine picked her up like a rag doll. Giant bear with the power to go along. With a small squeal of surprise Jade began to relax after he spoke to her. OKay so they were alike thats fine but she wanted to curl up with Destre not sit next to him. Her eyes lingered over to Destre and she blushed as she saw he was staring at her.

" I need something to eat. I mean someone. I am not really hungry but I am not going to push the blessing I was blessed with today." She bite her lower lip and looked up into the man's eyes that she wanted to drowned in. He was so lovely and this time Desire stayed away for the time being so that not only Destre could see how he felt for her but jade felt for him.


Blaine grunted and rolled up his sleeve. " Here." He held his arm up to her face like it was nothing." Hurry up my arm is going numb hanging here like this."

Jade's heart beat raced. How do you do this with out becoming a monster. How do you swallow that matalic liquid without purging it after wards? She began to cry softly. So confused. So confused.

Destre was still feeling frantic, and that feeling was increasing rapidly. He’d seen Jade in action before. Would she lose her control again if she tried to feed? It seemed like a very unsafe option, even given the fact that her prey wouldn’t be fighting back. Maybe that would even be worse.

Destre shifted and then grimaced as Shiva’s tail tightened in reflex around him. He scowled up at her, but she only grinned in response. Hating the sight of her face alone, he turned quickly away, looking back at Jade automatically. He could see the tears well up in her eyes from across the room.

The frantic feeling rose, turning to a great deal of society as his worry for her peaked. He didn’t want to see her upset like this. And it was all his fault. She was in their clutches because of him. He had to do something. Before everything got out of hand.

The sandstorm could only last so long.

“Don’t,” Destre spoke finally, before Jade could attempt to take Blaine’s arm.

Stay calm, he told himself. Showing too much emotion could get them both in trouble. Plus, he needed a clear head. Those were always better to work off of. His eyes were dark and impassive as they met Blaine’s across the room.

“She’s a newborn. She’ll lose control the moment the blood hits the air,” Destre reasoned.

Maybe they’d buy it, maybe they wouldn’t. He had to try, regardless. He didn’t expect them to tolerate the next part, but he had to attempt that too. Carefully, he swallowed.

“Let me sit by her,” he told them. “When I’m near her, she doesn’t hunger.”

Shiva snorted aloud. “Nothing can quench the thirst, boy. Do you think we’re that stupid?”

Destre clenched his teeth at the sound of Shiva’s voice, but restrained sending her a glare over his shoulder. That would only antagonize her, and, right now, he needed her on his side.

“Fine,” he snapped. “Let her feed then and see what happens when she can’t control herself. I didn’t realize you were that fond of Desire, Shiva.”

Shiva hissed, and he felt the tail around his ribcage tighten. He winced as his bones bowed inward but remained intact, and said nothing. He wouldn’t fight with her, not yet. He kept his silence and let her ponder over what he’d said.

Several minutes passed before she let out a reluctant grunt. “All right, but we’ll be watching you. There’s nowhere to go, and remember that Blaine here has his own share of demons he can release.”

Looking irked the whole while, Shiva stood and crossed the room. She didn’t close the distance to Jade’s bed, but, instead, lifted Destre and flung him onto the mattress beside her with her tail. Destre grunted as he fell into her, careful not to roll onto his wrist, but was otherwise elated that he was finally beside Jade. However, he was careful not to show his relief on his face.

Snarling, Shiva turned and went back to her chair by the door, but Destre paid no more attention to her.

Keeping his face blank, he turned inward and hoped to God that Desire was as powerful as he suspected her to be, powerful enough to read minds. It was a common talent in Alasantres. Hopefully Desire had picked up on it.

Concentrating, he spoke to Desire silently.

“Desire,” he thought, [/i] “I’m going to get you and Jade out of this. Use me if you have to, but do you have the strength to overpower them both?”

Destre landed next to Jade and she jumped but then she closed her eyes and snuggled right into his side like she was meant to be there. She took a deep breath in and then sighed. She moved away from him and took Blaine's arm. Her eyes watered as her stomach tumbled. This was not what she wanted to do.

" I will be okay," She said almost tot herself and bit into his arm. The matalic blood filled her mouth a a bit of hungry stung in her gut. She bit in a bit deeper and then as she felt better not full but better she pulled away. All that was left was two small puncture wounds in his lower arm.

Desire smiled as Destre tried to sooth her. Her a demon need soothing. Desire rolled back and then smiled," I can play any game I need but what makes you think I won't take you?"She crackled and thin the room filled with the smell of roses and lavender. Her power over took the room like a perfume and then it choked and filled them. All of them.

Blaine looked at his arm and then up. his eyes locked on to Shiva as the perfume filled his lungs. Desire rode him and make his mind waver and then fill with thoughts. Thoughts of Shiva with him in his arms.All of his demons screamed and hammered with lust all of them wanted out but blaine would not let them he wanted Shiva to himself no one else.

Slowly he got up and crossed the room. His eyes locked onto her. He wanted her tail wrapped around him and those lovely legs. Everything thing about her screamed mine.

Desire laughed and turned to Destre her jade green eyes faded and Jade blinked. She turned and looked Not did Desire go after Blaine but Shiva as well. Jade lunged into Deste's arms and kissed him. This time it was for her own need and happiness.

Destre frowned as Jade pulled away from him, deciding to take the arm and risk the feed anyway. He watched her intentively until she took the last drop and gently pulled away. He was amazed by her control, considering that she was only just a newborn, but he was incredibly relieved as well.

However, he grimaced as Desire began to speak with him, taunting him. Why had he expected her to play nice? Despite the odds, he should have known that she wouldn’t have considered them both on the same team.

When the pressure filled the air again, coated thickly with a sweet, tempting perfume. Destre wasn’t surprised. He wasn’t surprised when his skin suddenly felt warm, and his chest felt tight, and all his thoughts immediately began to circle around Jade. But being surprised or not, Destre couldn’t fight against it, and couldn’t resist it. He all but immediately succumbed to the throbbing need.

The room became empty to him. Empty of everything and everyone but Jade, upon who he could not turn his eyes away. It was a stronger desire than the one that forced him to feed, a stronger desire than even his will to live. In an instant, he needed Jade at his side and in his arms, safe and sound and his.

As if she could read his thoughts, Jade suddenly dove at him, straight into his arms with her mouth pressed feverishly against his. The contact was instant gratification, yet still not enough. Wrapping his arms around her, he dove his hands into her hair and brought her closer yet, exploring her like he needed to.

“I won’t let them hurt you,” he promised against her lips, and he’d never meant anything more. “I’ll keep you safe.”

Shiva was not entirely surprised when the air in the room suddenly felt heavy, but she was panicked. She caught the thick scent of lavender and only had a chance to sample it and realize what was happening before her mind suddenly went entirely blank, draining of all thoughts that should have been important at the moment. Such as keeping her hostages under control.

Now she was under the control of her hostage.

Yet she had never felt anything quite so enthralling as this captivity as heat surged through her veins, lighting her blood on fire as she watched Blaine stand across the room, his eyes suddenly on hers, as he moved toward her. The expression in his eyes was unmistakeable, and she had a feeling it was reflecting in her own.

Desire already held them both in her clutches. Shiva’s eyes darkened, her body physically yearning to be against Blaine’s. For a split second, her rationality tried to resist, but it was useless, and she was soon on her feet. She hadn’t taken even a step before Blaine was already in front of her, inches away.

She dropped her gaze, scanning his body, feeling her lust build as she examined the contours before her. Then her gaze flicked back to his face, her eyes hinting at the red of her demon form. Still, she remained in her human body, nothing exposed but her long, pointed tail.

She forgot about the audience in the room, the other demons incased in Blaine and the danger they contained, and could only think that she’d never seen a man more attractive or more desirable. Her mouth watered in anticipation.

She lunged at him without thought, leaping into his arms and wrapping her legs tightly around his waist as her tail coiled around one of his legs. Her hands were on his face, cupping his cheeks, and jerked his head toward hers so that she could plant her lips firmly against his.

The kiss was bliss, but it wasn’t enough. The need was consuming her, and her body yearned against his. She pressed tightly into him, wondering what exactly would be enough before she went mad.

Desire had no limits.

NO!NO!NO!NO! Blaine screamed in his head as her legs wrapped around his body and he dug his fingers into her thighs. He slammed her into the wall and it groaned against the pressure. NO!NO!NO!NO! Blaine's mine screamed again. All the demons hissed and howled with anger. Desire giggled as she skipped across his mind playing with his emotions like he was a toy.

[/i]Yes[/i] A sensual voice cooed in him mind. Malice growled and yelled at Desire,I would take this woman of my own will not yours.

But would she take you? then the voice was gone and Desire fled the entire room find her place within Jade and fell fast asleep pleased with her work.

Blaine looked at Shiva an instead of pulling away he deepened his kiss. It was not rough but passionate. If she pulled away Blaine would Blaine all of his actions on desire not of his own will. He moaned so softly against her lips as he let his hand slide up her spin and into her hair.

Jade smiled against Destre's lips and said," That would be nice but as of right now I get to protect you." She giggled and rolled her tongue across her lips and then looked at their captors.

" Nice," She laughed softly. " Well so much for not going over board on her part and I saw she touched you as well." Jade sighed softly and wrapped her legs around Destre's waist and pulled her body into his. Did he know how badly her body reacted to him. How badly she craved his touch? It was like the moment he walked out to kill her he saved her from torment.

Jade smashed her lips back against his and slid her had up into his hair like he had done but this time it was to rip his head backwards. Her eye flickered with delight at his throat. She wanted to taste his flesh, his blood. She bent closer to his neck and licked a line over his main vein. " Trust me," She purred with delight and slowly sensually she bit into his soft flesh.

His blood poured into her mouth and she swooned with pleasure. This time she mimicked the same talent Destre had. To make a bit blissful. Her blood heated with passion as his sweet blood trickled down her throat. So good. She pulled away softly and licked the wound softly.

" So good," She brought his lips back to her but before they touched Jade bit into her lip. Her blood was his and his hers. Why did she feel like she was his and he her's? Nothing could rip them apart. Sixteen and falling in love with a older man by many years. Yet she knew nothing of him other than his name but her heart pounded with love and lust for him.

When the degree of ferocity in the kiss lessened and shifted into something more, Shiva still held on. Even as the hovering feeling in the air dispersed, and she knew that Desire had retreated, Shiva continued to cling.

Why? It was hard to tell. She couldn’t think straight as the man was currently kissing her brainless. Maybe it was the fact that much of the need that Desire had instilled in her hadn’t faded when Desire had. Whether it was her own, or remnants of what had been placed there, she only knew that she felt it, and she couldn’t force herself to unwrap her legs or uncoil her arms. The feel of Blaine against her was too good to let go.

She hadn’t been held, let alone kissed, in such a manner in so long that she couldn’t back away from it now. She didn’t care that at times she found the man to be an ass. There was something underlying inside of him that she liked, despite the demons. Something that appealed to her in both her human and her demon. He was almost like the embodiment of what she felt the perfect man was.

He was perfect. At least for the moment.

Shiva growled and bit his lower lip. Not hard enough to taste blood, but possessively. She tilted her head to the side, adding her own depth to the kiss as well, and enjoying every second of it. If the two vampires hadn’t been present, she thought this moment would have been absolutely—

“Shiva!”

Shiva winced, jerking her head back away from Blaine’s, a look of confusion in her eyes as she stared at the demon’s face. He hadn’t spoken, she’d known. The voice had been inside of her head. But how?

“Where are you? I grow more and more impatient by the moment, demon,” the voice hissed, and Shiva gasped as an incredible pain split through her head with the sound of it. “Should I send someone out to search for you? Do you plan on failing me again?”

Shiva recognized the voice now, and she unconconsiously dug her fingers into Blaine’s shoulders as she winced from the pain that Tor Vorigan was somehow inflicting onto her in punishment as he spoke to her in her mind.

“No,” she replied quickly in her thoughts. “A sandstorm. We’re stuck in an inn until it’s over. I have him, and another vampire. One I think you’ll be interested in. She contains the demon Desire.”

There was silence for a moment, but Shiva knew that Tor was still there, because the pain rioting through her head hadn’t lessened.

After a few painful minutes, he replied, “Do not let him escape again, Shiva. Or the girl. I’m very interested by your capture. Don’t take much longer to return to me however, or I’ll come to find you.”

After he’d added enough menace to his threat, Tor’s presence was suddenly gone, and the pain vanished with it after giving one last ferocious squeeze. Shiva gasped again, a little hiss of pain, and her head fell forward weakly as she dropped it onto Blaine’s shoulder, exhausted.

She trembled once before she could restrain it, and blew out a ragged breath.

“Vorigan is impatient,” she told him quietly. “We don’t have much time before he comes looking for us.”

Destre grunted in surprise as Jade suddenly tugged his head backwards, but, even before she asked him to trust her, he already did. Strange how that had happened. Strange how he could have went from solitary to needing the presence of another being so badly that the thought of being without her nearly tore him in half. He felt her tongue on his neck and closed his eyes, groaning softly.

For a woman so young, she already knew how to have him at her mercy. She already knew exactly what to do to have him melting into the palm of her hand. He kept his arms tightly around her, needing her in such a manner that it was almost painful.

His breath caught jaggedly as her fangs sunk unexpectedly into his throat, and he was surprised at how well she manuevered her power into making it feel insanely pleasurable for him. So much so that he actually wanted her to drink from him, and to keep drinking from him, even if he should threaten to run dry. His hands curled into fists at her back, clenching handfuls of her shirt and pulling her more tightly against him.

He couldn’t have agreed with her more. It was good. Better than good. How was he ever going to survive without her now? The ferocious need to protect her swelled inside of him again as he felt her fangs pull out of his flesh, and he lifted his head to meet her eyes.

Eyes that were as dark as his.

As she bent her head toward his, he brought his toward hers. In the split second before their lips met, he caught the scent of her blood in the air, and then he tasted it as her mouth pressed against his. The blood from her self-inflicted wound dripped into his mouth and trickled down his throat, and he groaned in appreciation, tracing his tongue against her bloodied lip.

That was it. It was final. Come whatever may, he would defend her with his life. No one would take her from him. Not even Tor Vorigan himself.

Jade looked over her shoulder at the to demons locked together and smirked," Touch one off us again and I will make sure you two get closer then anyone wants to watch." Jades eyes glowed a light green then faded ass she spun around to play with Destre's hair.

" I will protect us for now love," she blushed and looked at his wrist," I mean Destre. You need to heal more than worry about those two. I believe we can keep them in their corner of the room until we can get out of here then," Jade giggled and girlish giggled that showed her age ass she leaned closer to Dester.

Blaine groaned as she deepened the kiss. Her lips seemed to blister against his. She was so much to take in so much he wanted.Then it was gone. She pulled away.

" What?" Blaine muttered as he tired to get his head straight. He wanted to pull her head back and dig his teeth into her throat and take her but her could see her pain. Anger rose up into his chest he wanted to get whom ever was hurting her and kill them. Malice and rage began to take over. His fingers dung into her thighs and then blaine dropped her.

He moved quickly across the room to the window and snarled at Jade," Shut up whore. I do not wish to listen to your mouth right now." Blaine looked over his shoulder at Jade with his blood red eyes and a evil grin. " I might just take your
tongue out of your head." he snapped his teeth together and then licked his lips.

" Well tell tor that we have them and the sand is not letting us deliver. And to also suck my large cock." He snarled again and he snapped the window cill off.

Shiva hissed out a breath as Blaine released her from his tight grip and she slid to the floor. It took a moment for her to decide that her legs would hold her up rather than buckle. She wasn’t sure if Blaine had left her feeling weak, or if it was in response to Tor’s painfully clear voice inside of her head.

Either way, she watched as Blaine stomped to the other side of the room and took his rage out on the window. A little bit of lust stirred in her belly as he exhibited his strength, but she shoved it aside. There wasn’t time for that right now. Later, maybe. If they made it out of this alive.

“I’m sure he’d appreciate the sentiment,” Shiva responded quietly, though her lips tried to quirk despite her control. “Sand storm or no sand storm, he’s getting impatient.”

Her eyes flicked to the vampires on the bed. One a normal pain in her ass, and the other a vampire/demon hybrid that was quickly becoming a pain in her ass as well. When had things gotten this complicated?

“He’ll find means to get what he wants, but the longer he has to wait, the farther is wrath is going to extend.”

And who would he hurt? Her again? Blaine? All of them? Tor Vorigan wasn’t a patient man, nor was he kind or forgiving.

Destre was still marveling over the fact that Jade had called him her love when Shiva’s words echoed in his ears. He blinked, shaking his head, as if he’d been underneath some sort of charm and was only now resurfacing. Wasn’t he under charm though? He couldn’t think when Jade was near him. She was all he wanted.

Tor was impatient. That was never a good sign. Would his wrath be worse?

What did it matter? Destre couldn’t allow it to get that far. He couldn’t allow the demons to take them back to the Castle of Desiphus to Tor’s waiting hands. He wasn’t worried about his own punishment, but, rather, what Tor would do with Jade.

Destre found Jade’s hand and twined his fingers with hers. “If they take us to Tor, you have to use whatever chance you can to escape. Don’t worry about me.”
