Characters

This is where all your characters will go. Due to the setting, the character races are rather limited. You can play as a human castaway from the modern world, a bird in Pernas' aviary, or one of his cattle.

Name: Pernas Vaaldaren

Age: Unknown (appears sixteen in human form)

Race: Dragon

Appearance: In human form, he appears as an awkward-looking teenager, though perhaps more surreal in appearance than awkward. He has a caucasian complexion, easy on the eyes, despite some bizarre physical features, and is dressed in formal white attire, albeit it appears to hang somewhat loosely on him, with the top buttons of his shirt undone. He always walks around completely bare-foot.

As for those 'bizarre physical features,' that would mainly consist of his white long hair, a diamond-shaped sapphire on his forehead, and two piercing, vivid blue eyes.

In dragon form, he is much more striking in appearance, rather than 'odd.' He is about one-and-a-half times the size of one of his fully-grown cows, covered in bright blue scales that glitter in the sun. Though in both forms, he has the same sapphire on his forehead, and the same vivid blue eyes.

Background: He is the sovereign of this island. It is his home and his paradise.

Name: Calhoun McKinley

Age: 20

Race: Human

Appearance: Calhoun has short-cut brown hair that has become somewhat longer and more unmanageable the longer he’s been on the island. His eyes are hazel and somewhat distrusting as he always has a nagging suspicion that the other residents of the island are going to resort to carnivorous methods in the heat of starvation. He’s tall, well-built, and of Irish decent.

Background: Calhoun is physically strong and rather intelligent, but he’s relied so heavily on technology during all of his years of life that he feels lost and inadequate in his new home. He is quietly and obsessively occupying his time nowadays searching for a way off the island and back to his home. He’s most likely tried escaping more times than anyone else on the island combined.

Calhoun was a journalist in his civilized life, but now he can find nothing of interest to write about except how desperate he is to escape. Though the longer time goes on, the harder it is for him to remember what exactly he’s so passionate about returning to. Despite the fact that he was an only child, love and affection were not things he was showered with by his parents as they were always both quite remote. His love life was much the same with a few casual dates that he never became serious with and never called back. His driving force in humanity was his writing, but, after some time on the island, Calhoun feels that even that is an empty promise now.

Name: Vi Yevon

Age: 15

Race: Human

Appearance: Her eyes are truly violet a stunning color that no one knows the real reason for. Other then that she looks perfectly normal. With long black hair to her waist. She has officially stopped growing and is short at 4'9". She's beautiful in a way but too shy as she often hides behind her hair to get away from things.

Though she is very sweet she has an ingrained fear of men. Of course she has learned to control the urge to run away at the least but automatically takes to bowing and trying to get away fast but at the same time being polite.

As with all people it still depends on the situation. Though she still prone to be shy. Other then that she is truly very sweet and loves the simpler things in life.

Background: Vi was to be named Violet the name her father and mother had decided on. It was shortened though because of her mother. There was complications and she died uttering the only thing she could 'V'. Sense then she has been simply Vi.

Vi grew up in a rough and tumble world. Fast passed that she rarely ever kept up. Her father didn't care. She was a hindrance and sense the time she could walk she was forced to toddle after him. A fierce lawyer and even a businessman he didn't have time for a child.

That ended when he lost a case horribly and his business began to fail. He turned to drinking as some men do and turned the anger on Vi. Ending up striking her or locking her in closets. Not able to understand she simply let him. When things grew worse he tried to make it up to her when he was sober.

Calling her his 'little girl'. Buying things with there meager money and she forgave him. Excepted them in silence and tried to stay out of the way when he got bottles. Perhaps that's why she ended up on the island. After a brutal beating she literally woke up on the island. Having no clue as to where she was or even the slightest idea of how she got there.

Name: Captain Carbonbuckle(Gets mad if you call him anything else)

Age: Unknown (He gets reborn every time he's eaten)

Race: Cow

Appearance: If you caught him right after he was reincarnated you would see just a normal cow with a bit more white then black. His eyes are also a light brown. After that his appearance is often stranger then it should be. Dying his own hair by rolling in various things (tedious work). He's usually quite huge even for his strange self coloration. He does favor stranger colors like yellow or orange but as grass is best usually has a large spot of green.

Background: Not much to say. As all his "life" has been an eternal struggle to make him self strange as possible and using him self as bate for Pernas to eat. He receives much ridicule but has never gave much mind to it.
